� University Partnerships � http://www.cse.yorku.ca/cshome/index.html With its 50th anniversary fast approaching in 2009, York University is Canada's third largest university offering full and part-time graduate and undergraduate degree programs to over 50,000 students in 11 Faculties. Housed within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in computer science and computer engineering: the BA and B.Sc. in Computer Science, the BA and BSc in Computer Security, the BASc Computer Engineering, and the innovative iBSc in Computer Science, as well as graduate MSc and PhD programs.
Honours BA and BSc programs are accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Council while the BASc program is accredited by the Computer Engineering Accreditation Board. The Department prides itself for strong undergraduate education to a diverse body of over 1500 undergraduate students as well as a dynamic research environment with some 30 research faculty and over 125 graduate students and research staff. �
When it first opened its doors in 1869, the University of California had just 10 faculty members and 38 students. Through GSM, the University has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and has successfully mapped to CNSS 4011- 4015, making UD one of only 7 U.S. universities authorized to award qualified students all U.S. Government CNSS educational credentials. Additionally, UD is today the only university to have so qualified through a graduate business program. Today, GSM has the largest graduate Information Assurance program in the nation with over 200 graduate students enrolled in MBA, MM, MS, and graduate certificate IA programs and courses. GSM offers all of its core business courses and IA concentration courses via in-class and on-line formats, or any combination of the two formats.
